Memorial services for Andre Robinson will held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2013 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop with Reverend Edward Head officiating. Interment will be held at Causey Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
Sheila Andre Robinson was born June 21, 1941 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She passed away August 30, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center following an extended illness. She was the only child of the late Arthur "Jack" Robinson and Shirley Montgomery Robinson. Andre was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, where she served in the church choir, and a retired teacher with Morehouse Parish Schools.
Andre is survived by an aunt, Charlene Robinson, cousins, Hal Robinson, Steve Robinson, and Mark Robinson. She is also survived by a special family friend, Judy Aswell, as well as numerous extended family.
In honor of Andre's wishes, memorials may be made to the Morehouse Humane Society or the Rose Theatre in Bastrop.
