Lillian Knox was born September 17, 1918 in Tioga, ND, the daughter of Freeman and Lena (Wagner) Knox. After first grade, the family moved to Monango, ND, where Lillian received her education.
On August 26, 1938, Lillian married Fred C. Keller in Ellendale, ND. They farmed for many years in the Monango area. They moved to Jamestown in 1960 where she worked as a nurses aide at the North Dakota State Hospital for 24 years. Fred died on February 14, 1962.
Lillian was a member of United Presbyterian Church, Jamestown.
Lillian is survived by three daughters, Karen (John) Becker, Rexburg, ID, Marlys (Dave) Hogden, Red Bluff, CA and Velma (Donn) Yatskis, Buchanan, ND; one son, Merl (Connie) Keller, Monticello, MN; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Clyde (Bertha) Knox, Monango; and two sisters, Elma Gayman, Ellendale, ND and Dolores (Edgar) Otterstetter, Penrose, CO.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers, William, Lynn and Harold; and two sisters, Viola Hall and Rosella Billey.
Burial: Monango Cemetery, Monango, North Dakota.
