Mrs. Minerva Wade Biechler, 85, of 217 Walnut Street, died Tuesday morning at Lancaster General Hospital after a long illness.

She was the wife of the Rev. William M. Biechler. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary last Oct. 7.

Born in Conestoga Township, she was a daughter of the late John Z. and Emma Duke Wade.

She shared in her husband's ministries in the following Pennsylvania communities: Tower City, Lavelle, Pine Grove, Gratz, Weissport, Bridgeville, and East Petersburg.

She was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Lancaster, and the Golden Rule Sunday school Class.

Besided her husband, she is survived by a son, John R., and June P. Garito, both of Lancaster; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren;
three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Olive E. Sigman, Millersville.

She was pre-deceased by a son, William M. Jr.
