DEATH OF MR. CRANFILL KIDD
Mr. Cranfill Freeman Kidd, a popular young farmer residing near Newnan, died at the hospital last Thursday night, after making a strong fight against an attack of pneumonia, following the "flu". He had an attack of illness about a month ago, and got up and began to attend to business before fully recovering, bringing on a relapse, and pneumonia developed. He was taken to the hospital, and in spite of a brave fight, finally succumbed.
He was 24 years of age, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Kidd, who survive him, as well as five brothers: J. M. Kidd, of Atlanta; and Messrs. William, Harold, Harvey and Aubrey Kidd, of Newnan; and two sisters, Mrs. J. A. Smith, of Cedartown, and Miss Ilma Kidd, of Newnan.
The funeral services were held Saturday, interment being at the Elim cemetery, Rev. J. F. Edwards of Buchanan, conducting the services.
