W. S. KIDD
W. S. Kidd, 73, died Tuesday, December 6th at his home, following a long illness.
He was born and reared in Coweta County, and was an active member of Elim Baptist Church, serving as a member of the Board of Deacons for a long number of years.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Mrs. J. V. Smith, Newnan; five sons, Harvey, Aubrey, Harold and William Kidd, all of Newnan and J. M. Kidd, of Marietta; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Davis, Atlanta, and Mrs. B Witcher, Vienna; and two brothers, Hamp Kidd and Walt Kidd, both of Newnan.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30 P. M. from Elim Church, with Dr. R. C. S. Young and the Rev. J. G. Stertz officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery, and members of the Board of Deacons served as pallbearers.
J. U. McKoon and Sons had charge of arrangements.
