ASTLEFORD, Miriam - Peacefully at rest in Wheaton, IL., October 2, 2002 at 79 years of age. Dearly beloved mother of Robert Dale Astleford; dearest mother-in-law of Pat. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale C. Astleford and her sisters: La Veta Hopper, Winona Woosley and Florine Jesperson and her brother, Frank Hicks. A longtime resident of Daly City. She was an active volunteer for many organizations: a past board member of the Hillside Homeowners Assoc. & Lions Club. Friends and family may visit Tuesday from 3- 9 PM and are invited to attend the Vigil Service at 7:00 PM at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. A Funeral Service will be held at Duggan's on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Interment at Olivet Memorial Park. Donations preferred to: American Heart Assoc.
