Born in Cincinnati, the son of William E. and Mary Bayly, he had come to Lima after graduating from Valparaiso college in Valparaiso, Ind.
Survivors include the widow, Madge S., 124 N. Jameson-av; a son, George Vale Bayly; a sister, Mrs. Foss Zartman, 1120 W. Elm-st; two brothers, Dr. Guy F., Chicago, and William E. Jr., 1707 Lakewood-av, and one grandchild.
Private services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Davis, Miller and Son Cathedral chapel. Rev. Arthur M. Romig will be in charge and burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
