Donna R. Adams, 71, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at North Kansas City Hospital.
Donna was born March 21, 1942 in Rahway, N.J. to Melvin and Mary (Yevincy) Higgins. At the young age of 5 years she was raised by a great man, who treated her as his own, William W. Gresham.
Donna was united in marriage to Stanley Neal Adams on March 21, 1989 at the Park Hill Christian Church in Kansas City, MO.
She spent her working career as a LPN for Dr. John Stanley at the Briarcliff Medical Center.
Donna will be remembered as a loving and caring person.
She was a very organized person who always enjoyed being prepared for all occasions; especially for sending cards of recognition or congratulations to her family and friends for their latest achievements in life.
Donna was a Baptist by faith.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stanley Adams in 2008; father, Melvin Higgins and step-father, William Gresham.
Survivors include her daughter, [name removed] of WA; two sons: [name removed] of MO; [two names removed] of TX; seven grandchildren; mother, [name removed] of OK; two sisters: [name removed] of OK and [name removed] of OK; and one brother, [name removed] of OH.
