Mrs. Stretch was a native of Johnson County and was a daughter of the late Henry Aaron and Ophelia Drake Hutcheson. A graduate of Young Harris College, Mrs. Stretch had lived in Vidalia before moving to St. Louis Park eight years ago. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, Vidalia and was a homemaker.
Survivors include three children, Mary Susan Stretch Harrison, (Brent), Jackson, MS, James Earle Stretch (Tracey), St. Paul, MN, David Lyman Stretch, (Becky), Pallatine, IL; eight grandchildren, Sean, Scott, Travis and Matthew Harrison, James and John Stretch and Sara and Charlotte Stretch; five great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Hutcheson, Macon.
