"Bob" Fuchs, age 85, Army Veteran, former Mayor and Village Trustee of Cary, IL from 1965-1976 and retired partner of the international audit, tax and consulting firm of Deloitte; Graduate of DePaul University - College of Commerce, and DePaul Law School; beloved husband of the late Miriam, nee White; loving father of children: Mary Ann (James) McLean, Theresa (Mark) Holthaus, James Fuchs, Elizabeth Fuchs, Susan (John) Jeavons, and Diane (James) Ciak, proud grandfather of Ryan, Kiley and Trevor McLean; Emily and Jennifer Holthaus; Michael Fuchs; Tyler and Robert Jeavons; and Kaitlyn, Nicholas and Cooper Ciak; dear brother of Anne Pawlowski and the late George Fuchs; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; cherished son of the late George and the late Julia Zweig Fuchs. Visitation Friday, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile north of St. Charles Road), Elmhurst. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Private Interment Windridge Cemetery, Cary.
