She was born in Plattsburgh, NY. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Music from Houghton College and her Masters Degree in Social work for Our Lady of the Lake University.
She proudly served her country in the US Air Force and played in the WAF Band.
Social work was her passion, conducting home studies, assisting those wanting to adopt children.
Richard E. Cizek, Caroline's loving husband of 59 years recently preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Cizek-Simmons, Mark E. Cizek and wife, Dené; and Mary "Alle" Alden; six grandchildren; sister, Mary Giles Darrell and many wonderful friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 28th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary on McCullough Ave.
