Willis E. Adaway, Sr., 75, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas on Tuesday, August 20, 2013.
He was born on July 1, 1938 to Agnes Abshire Adaway and Edgar Adaway in Beaumont, Texas.
Willis served in the National Guard for 8 years and was honorably discharged in 1963 from the United States Army. He retired from the City of Port Neches Parks Department after 28 years of service.
Burial with Full Military Honors will be in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Willis is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Frances Adaway; his son, Willis E. Adaway, Jr. and his brother, John Adaway and wife Bertha; several nieces and nephews.
