Born and reared in Hagerstown where he spent his entire life, he was the son of the late James Blair and Susan (Davis) Warner.
He was an accountant by profession, retiring five years ago.
He is survived by a son, Harry B. Warner Jr., a member of the Morning Herald news staff; and sisters, Mrs. Walter L. Cook, Hagerstown; and Mrs. Benjamin F. Young, San Diego, Calif.; nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at A. K. Coffman Funeral Home Thursday at 2 pm with the Rev. Edward P. Heinze officiating. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
