James F. Renfrow, 74, retired employee of Haywood Publishing Co., was dead on arrival at Home Hospital at 12:23 p.m. Friday apparently of a heart attack. He had been in failing health one year.
A native and life resident of Lafayette.
He worked as a pressman at Haywood's for a number of years before retiring. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
In 1935 he was married at Kokomo to Hazel V. Brewington, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Caryl) Nice and Marilyn Renfrow, both of Lafayette; three sons, James P. Renfrow of New Hampshire, John E. Renfrow of Lafayette and Howard E. Renfrow of Louisiana; and three sisters, Mrs. John (Nellie) Boveri and Mrs. George (Mary) Francis, both of Lafayette, and Mrs. John (Margaret) Eldridge of Monticello.
