ZANESVILLE -- Lora "Suzie" McCarty, 45, of Zanesville, died at 2:13 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005, at her residence surrounded by her family. Born Sept. 29, 1959, in Zanesville, she was a member of White Cottage United Methodist Church. Surviving are her parents, James and Marilyn Denning McCarty of the home; brothers, Daniel McCarty of Indiana, David (Connie) McCarty of Hawaii, James (Carol) McCarty of Zanesville, Frank (Jennifer) McCarty of Adamsville and Todd McCarty of Columbus; sisters, Victoria (Rick) Hall of Philo, Catherine Wells of Zanesville and April Wells of Indiana; and several nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Brian McCarty; grandparents, William and Louise Denning and Keith and Penny McCarty; and a nephew, Mickey McCarty. Services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Feb. 16, 2005, at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, 56 S. Fifth St. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery.
