WW2 Marine vet; POW after 6 May 1942 surrender of 4th Marine Regiment and attached units, Philippine Islands; liberated from Fukuoka POW Camp on Kyushu Island mid September 1945, and repatriated to the United States via US Naval Hospital, Naval Ammunition Depot, Macalester, Oklahoma. Discharged as a corporal in early 1946.
