Calvin P. Blood, 94, of 202 Rosalia St., died Friday at 11 a.m. at Mercy Medical Center. He had been ill four months.
He was born in Portage on Dec. 7, 1877, son of Frederick and Elizabeth Blood, and was married in Chicago on Aug 23, 1904, to Miss Ina Remer, who preceded him in death on Oct 2, 1958.
Mr. Blood had been a furniture upholsterer before retirement. He was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church.
Surviving are two sons, Gordon Blood, Sheboygan, and Frank Blood, Oshkosh; two daughters, Mrs. Vivian Landig, Neenah, and Mrs. Gordon (Beatrice) Kovill, West Bend; one sister, Mrs. Luela Boughton, Neenah; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Konrad Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lynn Scovil, pastor of Plymouth Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
