22 Apr 1941: Gabriel G. Bohn, aged 83 years, of Lickdale, died at the Good Samaritan Hospital on Monday evening, following an illness of which he suffered for a long time. He was admitted to the hospital last Friday, and an emergency operation was performed, but he failed to rally. He was engeged in farming for most of his life. He was a member of Walmers Church. He is survived by his widow, the former Elphena Hess, and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Harvey B. Boeshore of Bunker Hill; Mrs. Annie Miller of Lickdale; Mrs. Sallie Romig of Reading; Gabriel Bohn, Jr. of Suedberg; Miss Edna Bohn at home; Mrs. Clarence Wentling of Ono; and Mrs. Philip Boyer of Lickdale. Other survivors are brother James Bohn, of Lickdale; sister Mrs. Rosabelle Sterner, of Jonestown Route 2; seventeen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
