Born in Darlington, she was a daughter of Carol Taylor Padgett and the late James J.O. Padgett. She graduated from St. Johns High School and then Chris Logan Style Setters. Lori operated C.P.S. Antiques and was very knowledgeable in restoring jewelry and antiques. She also loved horses and enjoyed horseback riding. Mrs. Ray was of the Methodist Faith.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Darlington, are a brother, Joey (Angela) Padgett of Darlington and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Susan P. Blackman and Deborah P. Lynch.
In lieu of flowers or food, memorials are suggested to the Shriners Childrens Hospital, 950 W. Faris RD, Greenville, SC 29605.
