Christine Bauer

Christine Bauer, formerly of Pompeys Pillar and Worden, died Thursday at age 88 in Western Manor.

Her hobbies were crocheting and gardening.

Born in Java, S.D., a daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Ludwig Helm.
She married John Naasz in 1909 in Java, where they ranched until 1921.

They moved to Napoleon, N. D., to Pomeys Pillar, MT. in 1936 and farmed at Worden until 1947, when Mr. Naasz died.

In 1947 she married Andrew Bauer and lived in Napoleon.
After his death she returned to Montana.

Survivors include two sons, Milbert Naasz and Ervin Naasz, both of Worden; four daughters, Mrs. Edna Delzer of Napoleon, Mrs. Elsie Schaufer of Steele, N.D., Mrs. Allen (Lucinda) Propp ) of Worden, MT., and Mrs. Robert L(Lucille) Smith; a brother, Christ Helm of Selby, S.D.; a grandchild; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Worden in Bethlehem Congregational Church.

Burial will be in the Pleasantview Cemetery, in Ballantine, MT.
