Early Life: Lisa was born August 17, 1954, in Long Beach, California, to Jenness Mary Heywood Conner. She was adopted and raised by Albert and Evelyn Bean.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lisa was active in her wards and spent many years of her life teaching the Primary children to love music; this she did with great joy. Lisa had a strong spirit and endured much during her 55 years. She was a loving and giving mother, an incredibly fun sister, the best grandma, an adored aunt and a sweet and caring daughter, not to mention a good friend. Lisa was full of life and energy and was always hosting large family events. Everyone loved to be with Lisa and her home was a haven for her forever family. Lisa lived in Southern California until 1996 when she and her family moved to Provo, Utah. She spent her last years in Lehi, Utah. After battling MS for 25 years and leukemia for five years, courageous mother, Lisa Jan Conner-Bean Gentry passed from this life March 15, 2010, after undergoing a bone marrow transplant. She was 55 years old.
Survived By: Her husband, Albert Gentry; son, Rob Kline (Sri); son, Dennis Kline (Tawny); daughter, April Jolley (Brad); daughter, Heather Alexander (Joe); son, Scott Gentry (Brenda); son, Jeff Gentry (Tanya); and daughter, Shelley Gentry; sisters: Rikki Conner and Nan Christensen; brothers, Bill Conner and Ray Conner. She will be missed by her 17 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded In Death By: She has joined her birthmother, Jenness Mary Heywood Conner, whom she only knew for her first year on this earth; her earthly mother and father, Albert and Evelyn Bean; and grandchild, David Alexander. What a beautiful reunion.
