Jacob Balzer

Jacob Balzer, 69, Worden, died Sunday morning in Deaconess hospital.
An autopsy to determine cause of death is pending.

Mr. Balzar was born July 13, 1900, in Wiesmiller, Russia, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Balzer.

In 1907 he came to New York with his parents.
The family settled in Hoisington, KS., the same year and began farming.

In 1912 he moved to the Huntley Project, MT., area.

Mr. Balzer was married to Mary K. Knaub Dec. 18, 1922 in Billings, MT.

They lived in Huntley Project Area until his death.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Armand Arthur and Leo Eugene Balzer, both of Worden and one brother, John Balzer of Worden.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bethlehem Congregational United Church of Christ in Worden.

Burial will be in the Pleasantview Cemetery in Ballantine, MT.

Smith's Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
