His father had signed his name two different ways in life, Zirkel & later Zirkle making it hard for me because I come from one line that goes to my mother and one that goes to my father. lol His father was John O. who signed his REV WAR as Zirkel. So if you are looking, try each spelling.

These names came from a History Book and from a few church records

KATHERINA HIRTZEL ANCESTORS (ALSO MY ANCESTORS ON ANOTHER LINE FROM SWITZERLAND)
1-Heinrich Hirtzel 1619-1663
m. Maria Stiner 1619---
2-Hans Jacob Hirtzel 1554-1634
m. Madelen (Kaeller) 1581-1783
3-Jacob Peiter Hirtzel 1511-1573
m. Barbara Stoll 1520-1563
4-Hans Hirtzel 1446-1535
m. Anna Emi d. 1535 (only death date on stone--Zurich, Switzerland)

Ann Zirkle who married who married John Wolgamuth in 1826 were the parents of my 2 living cousins on my fathers side of the family. and my mother and Ann came down thru two different lines from Johann Ludwig Zirkel and Maria Eva Rosena Baer. It is too confulsing to explain how the Schnepp-Wolgamuth & Yeakley families came together to make us cousins which by the way, the girls are wonderful!. I believe it makes us triple cousins!!!

researched by Linda Doile Morris

Ann and I are second cousin-6 times removed and I have not figured out who many grandfathers away we are yet. lol
