Elizabeth C. Daniels, 81, a life-long resident of Peekskill, passed away October 24, 2011. Born on February 6, 1930 in Peekskill, the daughter of the late William & Mildred (nee Lounsbury) Cunningham. She worked for over 30 years in housekeeping at the Peekskill Hospital. She was a proud active-going member of Weight Watchers.Elizabeth is survived by her son Edward Daniels Jr.; her two daughters Shirley Roldan and Geraldine Rabe. She is also survived by her brother Robert Cunningham and her sister Gertude Lent; and her 8 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husabnd Edward E. Daniels, Sr; and her son & daughter: Frederick J. Daniels and Sharon Tempestilli. She was a devoted mother & grandmother, and will truly be missed by all. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 27th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill, where a funeral service will be held 11am, Friday, October 28th followed by interment in the Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley.
