Mr. Haynes was born Oct. 9, 1910, at Heavener, Okla. He was employed by Wheaton R-3 schools as a custodian and bus driver for 22 years, retiring three years ago. He was a member of Wheaton First Baptist Church. He married Geneva Smith, Feb. 28, 1931, at Neosho.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are six sons, Claudie Haynes and Darrell Haynes, both of Fairview Route 1, Melvin Haynes, Rocky Comfort, Bill Haynes, Siloam Springs, Ark., Wesley Haynes, Wheaton and Gary Haynes, Nowata, Okla.; five daughters, Mrs. Freda Kite, Carthage, Mrs. Joyce Akin, Fairview Route 1, Mrs. Carolyn Brattin, Cassville, Mrs. Wylene Clouse, Fordland, Mo., and Mrs. Veva Lee, Billings; three brothers, Earl Haynes, Jefferson City, Lloyd Haynes, Joplin and Charles Haynes, Springfield; three sisters, Mrs. Iva Mae Collings, Wheaton, Mrs. Pearl Howes, Nehalem, Ore., and Mrs. Pauline Gardner, Roseville, Calif., and 22 grandchildren.
