James Jensen, 97, a resident of Americana Healthcare Center for the last 10 years, died Saturday at the center. His funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Minot. Burial will be in Rosehill Memorial Park.

Mr. Jensen was born March 11, 1886, in Denmark. He married Martina Kristina Peterson in January 1908 at Denmark. They moved to Boissevain, Manitoba, and then to Glenburn in 1935. He worked as a section foreman for the Burlington Northern Railroad. Mrs. Jensen died in 1947.

Survivors: sons, James, Beltrami, Minn., Murton, Edmonds, Wash., and Gordon, Portland, Ore.; daughters, Mrs. Dagne Nyberg, Mora, Minn., Mrs. William (Marion) Altmeyar, Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Mary Delbrouck, Deleau, Manitoba; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren.
