Edward Nolan, age 76, who passed away at International Falls, January 16th, a former Brainerd man, funeral rites were held Thursday at 8:30 from St. Francis chapel and from the Hoenig Funeral Home at 9:30 o'clock.
The Rev. J. J. Hogan officiated with interment at Evergreen cemetery.
The deceased was born on May 3, 1857 [sic], and had been a resident of this section of the state for many years.
Surviving the deceased are several children. His wife preceded him in death a number of years ago. (Brainerd Journal Press, 19 January 1934, p.1, c. 6) [Contributed by Meg]
