A ROMANTIC WEDDING.

Jno. P. Dewald, a health-seeker from Hebron, Nebraska, is at the Arbuckle house. He was very low on Monday night, and the last sacrements (sic) were administered to him by Rev. Fr. O'Keefe. His folks having been telegraphed for his father, Martin Dewald, and his intended, Miss Katie Reynolds, arrived on No. 3, yesterday. It was concluded, under the circumstances, for the pair to get married. Miss Reynolds, not being a Catholic, she was baptized in the evening, by Rev. Fr. O'Keefe, Mrs. Arbuckle and Mr. Dewald being sponsors. The marriage took place at 8 p.m., by Fr. O'Keefe, Jos. R. Sweeney as groomsman, and Mrs. Geo. Arbuckle as bridesmaid. Mr. Dewald was in bed during the ceremony, which was very impressive. Mr. Dewald was better this morning. The lady is highly educated, estimable and handsome. - Las Vegas, (N.M.) Daily Optic.
