Cpl. Krueger is Accident Victim.
REEDSVILLE
Word was received here of the death of Cpl. Lawrence Krueger, 19, in a motorcycle accident near Twenty-Nine Palms, Calif., Sunday.
Corporal Krueger, a Marine, was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilburt Krueger of Reedsville and was stationed at Twenty-Nine Palms. Funeral services will be announced by the Reedsville Funeral Home after the arrival of the body from California.
He was born May 13, 1938, in the Town of Maple Grove, son of Wilbert K. and Lillian Speering Krueger. He enlisted in the Marine Corps Jan. 16, 1955.
Survivors include the parents, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Krueger, and the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ida Speering, of Rt. 1. Reedsville.

Funeral services for Marine Cpl. Lawrence Krueger, of Reedsville, who was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday near Twenty-Nine Palms, Calif., have been tentatively set for 2 p.m. Monday at St. John & James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Reedsville. The Rev. John Wendland will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
The deceased was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Krueger of Reedsville. He enlisted in the Marine Corps Jan 16, 1955, and was stationed at Twenty-Nine Palms.
The body is scheduled to arrive in Manitowoc via train Saturday afternoon. Friends may call at the Reedsville Funeral Home after noon Sunday until 10:30 a.m. Monday when the body will be moved to the church.
