Dennis Eugene Toeppe was the son of Norman Joseph Toeppe and June Elenor Imler.

Dennis was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He received the National Defense Service medal, Vietnam Service medal, Vietnam Campaign medal, the Combat Infantryman's badge, Parachute badge, Army Commendation medal and Bronze Star medal. Following the service, Dennis was employed at Conoco Phillips for twenty-three years as an operator. He was a member of VFW Post 8551 and Phillips Lake and Gun Club.

Dennis is survived by his wife, two sons, daughter, two step-sons, brother, sister, two grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Steven; and sister Cindi.
