Randolph F. (Randy) Parker April 9, 1924 August 12, 2013

Randolph F. "Randy" Parker, 89, of State College, died Monday, August 12, 2013, at the Hearth side Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, State College. Born April 9, 1924, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Joseph and Daffodil Cowher Parker. On Nov. 6, 1943 he married Bertha Rudy, who survives. He is also survived by two children, Thomas Parker and his wife, Betsy, of Pleasant Gap and Nancy Stere and her husband, Bill, of Unionville; two grandchildren, Aaron Parker and his wife, Becky and Pamela Fike and her husband, John; two step-grandchildren; Megan Meyer and Michelle Corey; three great grandchildren, Samantha, Liberty, and Eden; and a niece, Esther Cramer. He attended State College High School. He served in the Army during WWII. He was employed by HRB Singer as a printed circuit board fabricator. Randy was a member of the Mt. Nittany United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the VFW of State College. Visitation will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Friday, August 16, 2013, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the funeral home with the Rev. Edward J. Preston officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Nittany United Methodist Church, 1500 E. Branch Road, State College, PA 16801. Arrangements are under the care of Koch Funeral Home, State College.
