Funeral Services for Mrs. Tamara LaDean "Deannie" McDaniel will be 3pm Sunday August 18, 2013 at Pentecostals of the Miss Lou at 7280 Hwy 84 on the Ferriday Vidalia Hwy in Ferriday, LA. with Rev. Gary Howington of Ferriday, LA. and Rev. Dwayne Butler of St. Joseph, LA. officiating.
Interment will follow at Monclova Cemetery in St. Joseph, LA. under the direction of Comer Funeral Home Ferriday, LA.
Mrs. McDaniel was born on December 12, 1955 in Ferriday, LA. to the union of Harvey A, and Della I Darnell Hopkins and passed from this life August 15, 2013 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA.
She worked for Tensas State Bank for 20 yrs.
Deannie was preceded in death by her mother Irene Hopkins and sister Sue Shearer and father-in law Clinton "Little Bud" McDaniel.
Survivors include her loving husband of 38 years Ronald "Ronnie" McDaniel; son Roderick "Rod" McDaniel and his wife Laura Johnson McDaniel; two grandchildren Macy and Braxton McDaniel of Brookhaven, MS.; parent Harvey Hopkins of Waterproof, LA.; mother-in-law Joan McDaniel; sisters Joan Raley of Enterprise, Al.; Sheryl Abernathy and husband Johnny of Mendenhall, MS.; Nelda Rabb and husband Raymond of Waterproof, LA.; Pam Norwood and husband David of St Joseph, LA.; Karen Owens and husband George of New Hebron, MS.; brothers Phillip Hopkins and wife Catherine of Mendenhall, MS.; J.E.Hopkins and wife Wanda of Waterproof, LA.; Laney Hopkins and Annette of Mendenhall, MS.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
