DROPPED DEAD.
Well Known Blandinsville Man Found Dead in a Pasture.
Jacob Sturtz, a well known man of Blandinsville, was found dead in a pasture about 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon, his ailment being heart trouble, he having been troubled with his heart for some time.

Mr. Sturtz was walking in the pasture about the hour mentioned, and some young men were also near by [sic] on their way home. As the passed a feed barn they noticed him walking along, but when they emerged from the other side they could see nothing of him. They at once returned to see if anything had happened to him and found him lying on the ground. They at once summoned help but he was then dead.

Deceased was a well known resident of Blandinsville; was a blacksmith by trade and a man who bore the respect of all his acquaintances. He was about 56 years of age and leaves a wife, two daughters and one son.

The Verdict of the Jury.
Coroner Dougherty empaneled a jury to inquire into the cause of death of Jacob Sturtz of Blandinsville, mention of which is made above. The evidence of Dr. Duncan, family physician, was that Mr. Sturtz was subject to heart disease and the jury, consisting of Marion Coffman, foreman, Thos. H. Williams, C. E. Ballou, J. H. Burkhart, John Bayless and J. H. Metcalf, was that death resulted from that cause.

The funeral services were held yesterday at Blandinsville, interment in Glade Cemetery.
