Mary L. Conrow, 65, Grandview, MO, passed away on January 2, 2005, at KU Medical Center, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be on Friday, January 7, from 6-8 p.m. at Mt. Moriah and Freeman Funeral Home, and services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, at the Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO. Mary was born July 21, 1939, in Elizabeth, AR, to Troy and Mildred (Marchant) Foster. She graduated from Viola (Ark.) High School in 1957, and came to Kansas City shortly thereafter. Throughout her life, she worked as a farmer's daughter, telephone operator, furniture dispatcher, homemaker, and antiques dealer, but mostly as a mom and grandma. She taught her children as she lived - loving to laugh, approaching life's problems with ingenuity and creativity, and finding beauty in everything and everyone. Her beautiful smile reflected the love she felt for her family, the joy of a good bargain at a garage sale, and, most importantly, the assurance of her complete faith in Jesus Christ. She is survived by her husband, Dennis, of the home; daughters, Deborah Fuerst and son-in-law, Donald of Blue Springs, Lesa Talbott of Independence; and son, Dennis Conrow, Jr. of Kansas City, MO; her mother, Mildred Foster of Salem, AR; four grandchildren; four sisters, four brothers; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother. (Arrangements: Mt. Moriah & Freeman Chapel
