EUNICE ALEXANDER
Eunice Alexander, 91, San Diego, CA, formerly of Moberly, died Wednesday, July 5, 1989 at her home.
She was born Sept. 27, 1897 in Howard County, daughter of the late Joseph Franklin and Martha Ann Williams Dougherty.
Mrs. Alexander made her home in Moberly until 1971, when she moved to San Diego and resided there until her death. She was a member of the Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
On Jan. 30, 1919, she married Olan Thomas Alexander who preceded her in death June 15, 1961. He had worked for the Wabash Railroad.
Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Mrs. Howard (Joella) Seibert and Mrs. John (Ozella) Warford.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Joe Thomas and Gloria Alexander, San Diego, CA; four grandchildren, Mrs. Allen (Tanis)Brown, Shane, Wick and Todd Alexander, all of the San Diego area; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Clifford (Mary B.) Wheeler, Fayette; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at Central Christian Church in Moberly on Saturday, July 15 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Donald E. Mattson officiating. Burial is to be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
