OLAN T. ALEXANDER, WABASH ENGINEER, DIES TODAY AT 60
Olan T. Alexander, 60, Wabash engineer, died at 9:30 o'clock this morning in Lee Hospital in Fayette. He had been in Lee Hospital and in Boone County Hospital, Columbia, since March 19.
The Alexander home is at 512 Fort street.
Born in Howard County, near Rucker, Mr. Alexander had lived in Moberly since 1925. He was employed by the Brown Shoe Co. until going to Wabash service in 1929. He also lived on a farm near Burton from 1936 until 1941.
Mr. Alexander was a member of Central Christian Church, the Moberly Masonic Lodge and the B of LF and E.
He is survived by his wife; a sons, Joseph T. Alexander, San Diego; four grandchildren; and his father, R. T. Alexander, Moberly.
The body is in the Cater Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday Afternoon in the funeral home chapel by the Rev. Paul Walker, Christian Church minister in Fayette, assisted by Mr. Alexander's pastor, the Rev. A. E. Landolt. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Masonic services also will be held.
