Morehead-James, H., 49, of Crystal Lake Road, RD 3, New Berlin, died unexpectedly at 5:45 a.m. Thursday at Mary Imogene Bassett, Cooperstown. He is survived by two daughters; two sons; six grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers; several nieces and nephews. He was a former member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local No. 2953, Norwich. Funeral and committal services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango St., Greene. The Elder Charles Allen, Pastor of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, will officiate. Burial will be in Sylvan Lawn Cemetery, Greene. Friends may call at the Funeral Home Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pittsfield Emergency Squad, Pittsfield, N.Y. Uncle Jim's parents were married June 16, 1915 in Broome County, N.Y. Uncle Jim's mother was married to William Baker (2nd husband) when she passed away. They were married in Marathon, NY October 17, 1936. She died in 1944.
