New Munich - Jerome J. Zierden, 56, died Sunday at the Albany Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev Julius Muggli officiating.
Friends may call after 3:30 pm Wednesday at the Schad Funeral Home, Melrose. Parish prayers will be at 8:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home followed by St. Joseph's Catholic Aid Society at 9 pm.
Mr. Zierden was born July 15, 1923 in New Muich to the late Math and Mary (Wehsler) Zierden. He married Viola Ruegemer in St. Martin May 24, 1950. they farmed in St. Martin Township.
Survivors include his wife; sons and daughters, Duane, Grey Eagle; Lloyd, Ardelle, Marynard, Bruce at home; Mrs. Allan (Renee) Licht, Rockville; Mrs. Randy (Esther) Carlson, Duluth; brothers and sisters, Hubert, Albany; Arthur, Sauk Centre; Edmund, Valerian (Larry), Mrs. Virgil (Theresa) Rademacher, Mrs. Herbert (Dolores) Dierkhissing, New Munich; Mrs. Alcuin (Margaret) Borgerding, Freeport; Mrs. Tony (Rose Mary) Janke, Melrose; Sister Geraldine, OSB, St. Cloud; and three grandchildren.
