VAUGHAN, DEACON JERRY B. , age 71, of Orlando, FL, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2010 after a brief stay in the hospital. Deacon Vaughan was born on March 2, 1939 in Seneca, SC. Deacon Vaughan joined the U.S. Navy in 1958 where he served in the Navy band for over 30 years before retiring in Orlando. Following his retirement, he continued to serve the Navy for another 10 years in Member Services at the Navy Federal credit Union. He is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter, Terri and son-in-law Gary Malstrom of Clemson, SC; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Vicki and Chris and Donna of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
