She was born May 17, 1934 in Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia, and died May 15, 1986 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

He was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean War. Herbert was the loving husband of the late Erma Jean (nee Owens). He was the beloved daddy of Sherry Cruse, Gail (Dave) Bartley, and Sandy (Chuck) Kline. He was the dear grandpa of Jason, Bryan, Melany, Christopher (Stacey), Matthew and Ashley (Darryl). He was the great grandpa of Braily Ann and Logan. He will be missed by his beloved granddog, Buddy. Herbert was the son of the late Alice and Jacob. He was the brother of Clyde (Shirley), and the late Roscoe, Leonard, David and Linda.
He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 at the Tomon & Sons Funeral Home, 7327 Pearl Rd., Middleburg Hts., Ohio at 9 a.m. Interment will be at Mentor Cemetery.
