Succumbs at Home of Daughter In Louisville, Burial in Cave Hill Cemetery
Mrs. Veneva Inman Boone, widow of George Boone, passed away last Wednesday evening about seven thirty o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John McClaren. Death was caused from a lingering illness of a complication of diseases.
Mrs. Boone was about eighty five years of age and was born and reared in Boone township. She lived in this county for a number of years before going to Louisville. She was well known in the southern part of the county and was a highly esteemed woman.
Funeral services were held at the McClaren home last Friday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial was in Cave Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Boone is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Gertrude McClaren, four sons, Navaston, Frank, Charles, and Claude Boone, all of Louisville. She also leaves eight grandchildren, a brother, Charles Inman, and a sister, Mrs. Pervia Lemmon, both of Louisville.
