A telegram received in this city yesterday morning conveyed the sad news of the sudden death of Mr. A.B. Carroll at his home in El Paso, Texas. Mr. Carroll married Miss Stella Roberts of this city. The remains have been shipped to this city for interment and will probably arrive here next Wednesday.

At 11 o'clock yesterday morning the Funeral services over the remains of Mr. A.B. Carroll, who passed away in El Paso, Texas, several days ago, were conducted from Centenary Methodist Church by Rev. J.B. Hurley and the interment made in the Cedar Grove cemetery. The many beautiful floral offerings attested the esteem in which the deceased was held by those who knew him.
