Anthony was killed in a car/train accident at the West Gladstone crossing of the Northwestern Train. There were 5 persons in the car, Mr and Mrs. Busineau, their young daughter Winifred 2 1/2 yrs old, Alice Robbins, 22 and young brother Anthony, 7 yrs old.
The two survivors were Alice Robbins and Mrs. Busineau. The impact of the train, traveling at approximately 50mph, when it hit the car sent it tumbling and rolling at least 70 feet from the crossing, leaving pieces of wreckage scattered across the distance.
