Former Middletown resident Mrs. Ruby C. Moon, 82, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2001, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on Dec. 16, 1918, to Claude Halsey and Nancy (Nickel) Halsey. Mrs. Moon formerly lived in Middletown and graduated from Middletown High School in 1936. She worked for Barkelew Electric Co. and later worked as a supervisor with the Industrial Commission of Ohio. She leaves two sons, Keith A. (Betsy) Moon of Aiken, S.C., and Kevin C. (Rosalie) Moon of Nevada, Ohio; and 12 grandchildren, Alison (Steve) Nichols, Abigail, Jordan and Lindsay Moon, Gwendolyn and Whitney Moon, Kevin Moon Jr., and Caroline and Gregory Moon, Kristen and David Limpert and Nicole Bell. Mrs. Moon was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. in 1966; and her parents, Claude and Nancy Halsey.
ARRANGEMENTS: Mass of Christian Burial is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, at Holy Trinity Church of Holy Family Parish, with Monsignor Paul Metzger as celebrant. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home.
