Benjamin Kjelland 71, resident of this community for 62 years, passed away at the local hospital early this morning. He is survived by his wife and four sons, Olaf of Coos Bay, Ore., Harold of Hastings, N.D., and Bernard and Elton of Valley City. Four daughters, Marie, Mrs. Algot Johnson, Bernice, Mrs. Robert Wof, both of St. Paul, Minn., Margaret, Mrs. Kenneth McDonaugh, Livingston, Mont.; Edna, Mrs. Dayton Johnson, Dale, Minn.; four brothers, Alfred, Olaf, Ludvig and Anton; one sister, Mrs. Harold Bouch.
Funeral services will be at the Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday, November 29, at 2 o'clock with Rev. Donald Ronning officiating. interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Holberg-Peterson Funeral Home.
