With Hal Roach Studios, he appeared in "Do Detectives Think?" (1927), "Sailors Beware" (1927), "Sugar Daddies" (1927) and "Golf Widows" (1928). As veteran type cast performer he appeared in a 100 films from 1927 to 1949, such as "Sailor's Luck" (1933), "Mutiny on the Bounty" (1935), "Devil's Island" (1935), "Reap the Wild Wind" (1942) and "Adam' s Rib" (1949). He died at age 84 in Los Angeles, California.
