MRS. SARAH WILLIAMS DIED AT HARRISBURG ---
BURIAL AT THIS PLACE MONDAY

Mrs. Sarah Williams, widow of the late Wm. P. Williams of this place, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Hoover, 1830 Park Street, Harrisburg, at 7:45 p.m., Friday, of cancer of the stomach, aged 75 years, 5 months and 9 days. Services were held at the home of her daughter in Harrisburg, Sunday afternoon by Rev. Miller of the Lutheran church. On Monday the body was brought to this place on the 11:25 a.m., P. R. R. train for burial. The relatives and friends from this section gathered at the station and upon arrival of the train the cortege proceeded to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church where services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. E. C. Wahrmann. Burial was made in Odd Fellow's Cemetery.

Deceased was the mother of nine children, two of whom preceded her in death. Those surviving are Mary (Mrs. Jacob Weaver) of Elizabethville; Harry, M. S., and George of Lykens; John of Coaldale; Hettie (Mrs. Wm. Hoover) of Harrisburg; Emma (Mrs. Edward Miller) of Wiconisco. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Mary Engle of Gratz and Mrs. Rebecca Landis of Oklahoma. There are 26 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Her husband died two years ago.
