OBITUARIES
MICHAEL S. WILLIAMS
Mr. Michael S. Williams, 61, a life-long resident of Lykens, residing at 218 West Main street, died Tuesday afternoon, October 28, at 4:30 in the Geisinger Memorial Hospital, Danville, death having followed a nine day illness of a complication of diseases.
Mr. Williams was born in Loyalton and was the son of the late William P. and Sarah Williams. He was united in marriage to Miss Fannie Bamberger of Elizabethville R. D., who preceded him in death a number of years ago. He was fraternally connected with the Junior Mechanics and attended St. John's Lutheran Church. To survive he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Clair Troutman and Miss Margaret, at home; four sons, Charles, Clayton, William and David, Lykens. One brother, John Williams, Wiconisco; one sister, Mrs. Fred Reiley, Harrisburg, and five grandchildren, also survive.
Funeral services will be held from his late home this afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. P. O. Reitz, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be made in the I. O. O. F. Cemetery.
