Daisy Myrtle Pedigo, age 96, passed away Saturday night at River Park Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith and a shirt factory worker. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Doak Pedigo; Parents, William Riley & Allie Elmer Maxwell Gambrell; Sisters, Mable Pedigo, Clara Alice Trapp, Velma Leona Hutchings Parrish; Brothers, Ruben Solon, Loyd Ray, Roy Lee, William David, Fred Winston, James Clifford and Verbal Gambrell. She is survived by her Brother, Floyd "Joe" Gambrell of McMinnville; Sister-in-law, Janelle Gambrell; Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews; Many SPECIAL friends and neighbors also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 2:PM at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday 4:PM until 8:PM and Tuesday 11:AM until time of the service at 2:PM at the funeral home.

She married Toy Ralph Pedigo on August 15, 1933 in DeKalb County, Tennessee. Toy was born November 13, 1913 in Tennessee and died September 18, 1987 in McMinnville, Warren County, Tennessee; Daisy Myrtle Gambrell and Maybell Gambrell were sisters.∼MYRTLE GAMBRELL PEDIGO
