Pleasanton, Oct. 1 -- Funeral services were held here yesterday for Ernest E. Hall, 69, who died in an Oakland hospital, Saturday morning after a lingering illness. He was president of the Hall Warehouse company and one of the town's most prominent businessmen. Services were under the auspices of the local Masonic lodge. He was a member of both the Masonic lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star. The deceased had been a resident of Pleasanton for thirty-five years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Jenkins Hall; an adopted son, Will Hall; two brothers, Fred E. Hall of Pleasanton and George Hall of Boston, MA, and two sisters, Mrs. Lena Evans of Oakland and Mrs. Clara Fellows of Palo Alto.
